Weston Stainless, a UK-based company in Midland, is a top supplier and producer of stainless steel products with high quality, offering long-lasting and dependable solutions for industrial uses. Among its products, Stainless Steel 439 Sheet and Plates are popularly known for their high resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and heat stability. Composed of Grade 439 stainless steel, the sheets and plates are offered in different shapes, such as flat, rectangular, and custom dimensions. The alloy, a ferritic stainless steel, is titanium-stabilized, providing superior performance in aggressive environments, making it suitable for industrial and architectural applications.
Chemical composition of Stainless Steel 439 Sheet and Plates includes around 17-19% Chromium, 0.025% Carbon, 0.2-0.5% Titanium, and traces of Manganese, Silicon, and Phosphorus, providing them with better corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. These plates and sheets have good mechanical strength with tensile strength of 415-585 MPa, yield strength of around 205 MPa, and elongation of 20-30%. They have good physical properties like high thermal conductivity, oxidation resistance up to 850°C, and low thermal expansion, which make them stable in high-temperature applications.

Excellent corrosion resistance. The sheets are available in sizes from 3mm to 150mm in thickness and up to 2500mm in width. They are widely used in the construction and automotive industries.
Superior corrosion resistance is given by Stainless Steel 439 Cold Rolled Plates. These plates are produced in the thickness range from 0.5mm up to 6mm and in width up to 2000mm with a smoother surface finish and mechanical properties better than hot-rolled plates.
Superior corrosion resistance. The available range is common from 1.5mm up to 10mm thickness in chequered pattern sheets for anti-slip purposes such as floor plates, stair treads, and various forms of stair flooring.
Excellent level of corrosion protection. These can be offered from 0.5mm through to 5mm in several hole sizes and patterns for different purposes like filtering, ventilation and for decorative reasons in various engineering applications.
Manufactured using thin-precision-cut steel sheet, between 0.05mm to 3mm which are used by engineering applications at tighter tolerances to space and align.
Excellent corrosion resistance. Plates available in thickness from 0.5mm to 6mm and widths up to 2000mm with a high-gloss finish are ideal for architectural and decorative applications.
Stainless Steel 439 Sheet and Plates are being extensively utilized in the automotive, construction, petrochemical, and power generation industries because they are highly resistant to corrosion and oxidation. They are mostly utilized in exhaust systems, heat exchangers, fuel system components, and industrial equipment where high-temperature applications are required. Also, such sheets and plates have uses in food processing, building cladding, and other structural elements that are exposed to extreme conditions, which make them the go-to option for durable and dependable material solutions.
Stainless Steel 439 Sheet and Plates are supplied with required test certificates, such as Mill Test Certificates (MTC) in accordance with EN 10204 3.1/3.2, third-party inspection reports, and material traceability records. They are safely packed in wooden crates, pallets, or protective plastic covering to provide safe transportation. Proper labeling ensures easy identification, and deliveries are handled efficiently to cater to global demand, ensuring industry standards compliance and timely shipment to customers globally.
