Midland, UK-based Weston Stainless is a prominent stainless steel products manufacturer and supplier, with expertise in Stainless Steel Heat Exchanger Tubing. These tubes are designed to deliver enhanced performance in heat transfer applications and come in multiple grades such as 304, 316, 321, and 904L, with corrosion and high-temperature resistance. They are available in seamless and welded types with round, square, and rectangle shapes, produced from austenitic, ferritic, and duplex stainless steels. The tubes have high industry standards and are utilized across chemical, power generation, and marine industries for their long lifespan and efficiency.
Stainless Steel Heat Exchanger Tubing consists of such elements as chromium (16-25%), nickel (8-20%), molybdenum (0-4%), manganese, and trace amounts of carbon, silicon, and phosphorus, to improve strength and corrosion resistance. Mechanically, the tubes have tensile strength of 515-750 MPa, yield strength of 205-550 MPa, and elongation of 30-40%. Their physical characteristics include a density of around 7.9 g/cm³, a thermal conductivity of 14-16 W/m·K, and good oxidation resistance up to 870°C. They are very efficient for thermal exchange uses.
