Stainless Steel 904L Forged Fittings contain a high nickel (23-28%) and chromium (19-23%) content and 4-5% molybdenum, which increases corrosion resistance. The copper addition enhances sulfuric acid resistance, and the low carbon content avoids carbide precipitation. The fittings possess a tensile strength of around 490 MPa, yield strength of about 220 MPa, and elongation of 35%. They have a density of 8 g/cm³ and possess high thermal conductivity and oxidation resistance, retaining their mechanical strength even at elevated temperatures.
