Weston Stainless, based in Midland, UK, is a leading supplier of high-quality stainless steel products, serving industries such as construction, marine, and manufacturing with precision-engineered materials. Known for durability and reliability, the company provides superior stainless steel solutions for various industrial applications. Stainless Steel 316/316L Forged Fittings, made from austenitic stainless steel, offer excellent corrosion resistance, strength, and durability. Available in shapes like elbows, tees, couplings, and unions, they contain 16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel, and 2-3% molybdenum, with 316L having lower carbon for improved weldability. These fittings ensure superior performance in marine, chemical, and industrial environments.
Stainless Steel 316/316L Forged Fittings are composed of iron, 16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel, 2-3% molybdenum, with manganese, silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur. The 316L variant has a lower carbon content (≤0.03%) for improved weldability. Their mechanical properties include a tensile strength of 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%, ensuring excellent durability. Physically, they have a density of 8.0 g/cm³, a melting point of 1370-1400°C, and a thermal conductivity of 16.3 W/m·K, making them highly resistant to corrosion, high temperatures, and pressure in demanding industrial applications.
