Weston Stainless, Midland, UK, is one of the prominent distributors of high-grade stainless steel products that serve various industrial requirements with precision-engineered solutions. Stainless Steel 17-7 PH Bars are produced from a chromium-nickel-aluminum alloy and possess very good strength, hardness, and corrosion resistance. These bars are supplied in round, square, hexagonal, and flat forms, making them suitable for aerospace, chemical processing, and marine environments. 17-7 PH grade guarantees excellent mechanical properties such as high fatigue strength and toughness and hence these bars are ideal for high-temperature and high-stress applications where reliability and durability are essential.
Stainless Steel 17-7 PH Bars contain 16-18% Chromium, 6.5-7.75% Nickel, 1-1.5% Aluminum, 1% Manganese, 1% Silicon, 0.09% Carbon, 0.04% Phosphorus, and 0.03% Sulfur. The bars have a tensile strength of up to 1310 MPa, a yield strength of 1035 MPa, and an elongation of 6-10%. The physical properties are a density of 7.8 g/cm³, a melting point of 1400°C, and a thermal conductivity of 16 W/m·K. With high hardness, good corrosion resistance, and excellent fatigue strength, they work very well in harsh environments.
