Weston Stainless is a midland UK-based company that leads in the production and supply of premium stainless steel products. With an abiding passion for precision strength and innovation Weston Stainless excels in manufacturing stainless steel mechanical tubing to meet the needs of various industries such as the automotive construction and engineering sectors. Our mechanical tubing is renowned for its superior strength, corrosion resistance and high-quality finish which makes it suitable for both structural and mechanical uses. Supported by years of experience and a customer-centric strategy, Weston Stainless continues to provide dependable solutions that exceed the highest standards of performance and quality.
Stainless steel mechanical tubing is made mostly of iron, with added chromium (usually 10.5% or greater) to increase corrosion resistance, plus different amounts of nickel, molybdenum, manganese and carbon to provide optimal strength and durability. The tubes have outstanding mechanical properties such as high tensile strength, good ductility and toughness and are well-suited for rigorous structural and mechanical uses. They show excellent resistance to corrosion, heat and oxidation, particularly in severe environments. Stainless steel tubes retain their integrity under pressure and mechanical stress, providing extended service life and minimal maintenance. Typical grades are 304, 316 and 410, each designed for particular applications.
