Stainless Steel 347 Pipe Fittings are 17-19% chromium, 9-13% nickel, and columbium (niobium) bearing, which improves the fittings’ resistance to carbide precipitation and intergranular corrosion. It has a tensile strength of 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%. Their hardness is around 95 HRB. Physical properties consist of a density of 7.9 g/cm³, a melting point of about 1400°C, and high thermal conductivity of 16.3 W/m-K. Such properties render SS 347 pipe fittings appropriate for challenging applications demanding high-temperature stability and mechanical strength.
