AWS Class ER309/309L MIG and TIG Filler Welding Wire and Rod has 23-25% chromium, 12-14% nickel, and ≤0.03% low carbon content to avoid carbide precipitation and intergranular corrosion. It offers a tensile strength of about 620 MPa, yield strength of around 350 MPa, and elongation of 35%. Having a density of 7.9 g/cm³ and melting range of 1350-1400°C, it offers superior oxidation resistance, thermal stability, and high-temperature strength, which makes it suitable for difficult welding applications.
