The inclusion of silicon enhances weld pool fluidity and minimizes spatter. These fillers have a tensile strength of about 600 MPa, yield strength of about 350 MPa, and elongation of 35%. Physical characteristics are density 7.9 g/cm³ and melting range 1350-1400°C, and they offer good high-temperature stability as well as good mechanical properties.
