Weston Stainless is a Midland, UK-based established supplier and manufacturer of stainless steel products of the highest quality, offering precise-engineered solutions to diverse industries. Weston Stainless is a specialist in SMO 254 Tube Fittings that possess remarkable strength, corrosion resistance, and long-lasting properties. These fittings are produced in Grade SMO 254, which is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel with very high resistance to crevice and pitting corrosion. Found in various forms like elbows, tees, couplings, and adapters, the constituents are mainly chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and nitrogen. SMO 254 Tube Fittings find many applications in chemical, marine, and offshore businesses with high performance requirements for their piping systems

SMO 254 Tube Fittings contain around 19.5-20.5% Chromium, 17.5-18.5% Nickel, 6-6.5% Molybdenum, 0.18-0.22% Nitrogen, traces of Manganese, Silicon, Phosphorus, Sulfur, and Carbon, and the balance is Iron. They are mechanically equipped with a tensile strength of up to 650 MPa, yield strength of about 300 MPa, hardness of up to 100 HB, and elongation of 35%. Their physical characteristics are a density of 8 g/cm³, thermal conductivity of 14.5 W/m·K, and electrical resistivity of 85 µΩ·cm. These characteristics make them well suited for uses where high corrosion resistance, strength, and durability are needed.
Four ports arranged in a cross pattern for connecting pipes at a single junction. Common sizes include 1/2″, 3/4″, and 1″, offering high resistance to corrosion and stress. It is ideal for high-pressure applications requiring robust corrosion resistance.
Provides a seamless transition between different pipe sizes. Available in sizes such as 1″ x 1/2″ and 2″ x 1″, it ensures a smooth flow while maintaining excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation. Suitable for applications needing a reliable size transition.
A central male threaded connection with two side outlets, enabling efficient branching of fluid lines. Typical sizes include 1″, 1.5″, and 2″, offering superior corrosion resistance and durability. Perfect for complex piping systems requiring corrosion-proof components.
Designed to join two male-threaded fittings securely. Common sizes are 1″, 1.5″, and 2″, providing excellent resistance to corrosion and high temperatures. Essential for creating secure, leak-proof connections in aggressive environments.
A 90-degree change in the direction of the pipe with male-threaded ends. Sizes like 1″, 1.5″, and 2″ are standard, ensuring high resistance to corrosion and mechanical stress. It is ideal for directing flows in piping systems with corrosive fluids.
Used for connecting two female-threaded fittings with male threads. Sizes available include 1″, 1.5″, and 2″, providing excellent corrosion resistance and strength. Designed for applications where secure, resistant connections are necessary.
SMO 254 Tube Fittings find vast applications in industries demanding superior corrosion resistance, superior strength, and durability. They are used vastly in marine usage, desalination plants, and offshore petroleum and gas industries because of their pitting as well as crevice corrosion resistance. In petrochemical as well as chemical industries, they are employed for piping systems operating with aggressive chlorides and acids. Moreover, SMO 254 Tube Fittings are seen in heat exchangers, pharmaceutical processing, food and beverage industries, and pulp and paper mills, where reliability, high pressure strength, and resistance to harsh environments are of key importance.
SMO 254 Tube Fittings are supplied with test certificates like Mill Test Certificates (MTC) according to EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2, third-party inspection reports, and other quality assurance certificates to ensure adherence to industry standards. They are packaged securely with wooden crates, bubble wrap, or protective coverings to avoid damage during shipping. Delivery is timely, with safe shipping arrangements available for both domestic and overseas markets to provide timely supply.
