Weston Stainless, located in Midland, UK, specializes in supplying high-quality stainless steel products to hygienic and durable piping-intensive industries. Among its niche products, Dairy Reducers are essential in achieving seamless fluid transition in sanitary piping systems. Made of superior stainless steel grades like SS 304 and SS 316, Weston Stainless’s reducers come in concentric and eccentric styles. Their high-gloss finish prevents contamination, guarantees easy cleaning, and ensures high hygiene standards, making them suitable for dairy, food processing, beverage, and pharmaceutical applications where purity and efficiency are paramount.
The Dairy Reducers are made up of grades SS 304 and SS 316 stainless steel, containing chromium (18-20%), nickel (8-12%), and molybdenum (up to 3%) to achieve a higher level of corrosion resistance and durability. Mechanically, they offer a tensile strength of 515-620 MPa, yield strength of 205-260 MPa, and elongation of 35%, providing exceptional strength and elasticity. Physically, they exhibit a density of 7.9-8 g/cm³ and thermal conductivity of 14-16 W/m·K. Their highly polished surface reduces fluid resistance, inhibits bacterial growth, and is easy to maintain, which makes them ideal for sanitary uses with stringent requirements for hygiene.

Dairy Reducers have extensive applications across industries that necessitate hygienic and contaminant-free fluid transfer. Dairy and food industries use them for hassle-free transitioning from one size of pipe to another, while they provide clean flow of milk, juices, and other beverages. Pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies apply them to carry sterile fluid while upholding the highest standard of hygiene. They are also required in breweries, beverage manufacturing, water treatment facilities, and cosmetic production, where accuracy in fluid handling is critical. Their resistance to corrosion, ruggedness, and simplicity of maintenance make them a sound option for uses requiring cleanliness, effectiveness, and unobstructed fluid transport.
Excellent corrosion resistance and durability. Typically available in various sizes ranging from 1/2″ to 6″, these reducers ensure reliable performance in sanitary applications. They offer a high level of resistance to oxidation and rust, making them ideal for demanding environments.
Designed for low-temperature environments and offer enhanced resistance to corrosion and oxidation. They are available in sizes from 1/2″ to 4″ and are known for their low carbon content, which improves weldability and reduces susceptibility to sensitization. These reducers ensure longevity and reliability in dairy processing systems.
Superior corrosion resistance, particularly in environments with higher chloride exposure. They are available in sizes from 1/2″ to 6″ and are ideal for applications requiring high levels of sanitation and durability. Their resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion makes them suitable for harsh processing conditions.
Low carbon content, which minimizes the risk of carbide precipitation during welding. They are available in sizes ranging from 1/2″ to 4″ and offer exceptional corrosion resistance, especially in chloride-rich environments. These reducers are ideal for high-purity dairy applications requiring excellent durability.
Designed to facilitate smooth transitions at a 90-degree angle within dairy processing systems. Available in sizes from 1/2″ to 4″, they ensure minimal pressure loss and turbulence. Their stainless steel construction provides robust corrosion resistance, making them suitable for demanding dairy environments.
Engineered for gradual transitions at a 45-degree angle, reducing flow turbulence and improving system efficiency. Sizes range from 1/2″ to 4″, and the 304L stainless steel offers excellent corrosion resistance and weldability. They are perfect for dairy applications requiring both durability and smooth flow.
