Stainless Steel Diaphragm Valves are constructed using high-grade materials such as SS 304, 316, and 316L, made up mainly of Chromium (18–20%), Nickel (8–14%), and Molybdenum (2–3%) in 316/316L for improved corrosion resistance. These valves have good mechanical properties, such as tensile strength of 485–620 MPa and good ductility. Physically, they have a density of 7.9 g/cm³, melting point of approximately 1400°C, and very good thermal and chemical resistance. Their hygienic, non-toxic material and strong construction make them suitable for use in sterile, corrosive, and high-purity applications in various industries.
