AWS Class E317LT1-1/T1-4 Flux Core Wire contains around 18-21% chromium, 12-15% nickel, and 3-4% molybdenum with maximum corrosion resistance. It provides 550-700 MPa tensile strength, 300-450 MPa yield strength, and 30-40% elongation to ensure superior mechanical performance. With a density of approximately 7.9 g/cm³ and a melting range of 1350-1400°C, it provides excellent thermal stability. The flux core improves weld quality by minimizing oxidation and enhancing slag detachability, producing clean and strong weld deposits.
Superior corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, ideal for high-quality welds in industrial applications using external shielding gas.
Designed for outdoor welding without external shielding gas, providing excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical strength.
Exceptional weld quality, strong mechanical properties, and superior corrosion resistance for diverse industrial applications.
AWS Class E317LT1-1/T1-4 Flux Core Wire is extensively used in chemical processing, marine, power generation, and offshore structures that demand improved corrosion resistance. It is best for welding tanks, pressure vessels, and piping systems with exposure to severe environments, such as chloride-rich and acidic ones. It can also be used for other applications in the pulp and paper, pharmaceutical, and food processing industries. Due to its capability of creating high-strength, crack-resistant welds, it has been a favorite for making and repairing stainless steel structures in harsh conditions.
AWS Class E317LT1-1/T1-4 Flux Core Wire is shipped with test certificates for AWS A5.22 and ISO 17633 compliance. It is tested for mechanical and chemical properties in each batch to provide consistent quality. Vacuum-sealed spools or moisture-proof boxes are used to package it, avoiding any contamination and ensuring welding integrity. It is available in different diameters and shipped all over the world with customized packaging to suit industrial demands.
