SMO 254 Bolts consist of around 19.5-20.5% Chromium, 17.5-18.5% Nickel, 6-6.5% Molybdenum, 0.18-0.22% Nitrogen, 1% Silicon, 1% Manganese, 0.03% Carbon, 0.03% Phosphorus, and 0.01% Sulfur, with the rest being Iron. Mechanically, they provide a tensile strength of 650-850 MPa, a yield strength of about 300 MPa, elongation of 35-40%, and hardness up to 100 HB. They possess physical characteristics that are a density of 8 g/cm³, thermal conductance of 14.5 W/m·K, and electrical resistivity of 850 nΩ·m, properties that are highly suitable for usage in extremely corrosive and stressful conditions.
