AWS Class ER308/308H SAW and FLUX contain a chemical content of 19-21% chromium, 9-11% nickel, and 0.04-0.08% carbon, offering higher strength at higher temperatures. These fillers provide a tensile strength of approximately 600 MPa, yield strength of about 300 MPa, and elongation of 35%. Physical properties are a density of 7.9 g/cm³ and a melting range of 1350-1400°C, which provides excellent thermal stability. The well-balanced composition offers better resistance to oxidation, intergranular corrosion, and cracking in high-temperature conditions.
